Description: Walk into the room and he's the first one to come running up to meet you, talking and chirping and purring. He just loves people and he loves to be right in the middle of all the activity.
He loves to be petted, he loves to play, but most of all, he really, really loves people and just wants to be around you as you go about your daily activities.
Jude's hobbies are eating--he likes that a lot--and supervising the human beings around him to make sure they are doing exactly what they should be doing--paying attention to Jude.
Jude is a great companion animal. He'll curl up on the sofa and watch TV with you or enjoy a good book--he particularly likes the SpiderMan comics--or he'll follow you around and watch you work.
He likes to play with dangly toys or watch you toss a furry mouse around. He's a real character and will make you laugh with his antics and his really unique good looks.
Jude and his pal Black Jack would like to be adopted together. They are very bonded, and have been together all their lives.
Jude was originally one of the favorite cats of a local rescue couple. The wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and while she was in hospice, her husband died. Before she died, the wife had contacted rescue friends and made adoption arrangements for many of the cats, but no arrangement was made for Jude and his friend Black Jack, since the husband intended to keep his favorite boys. Following their death, the two cats found themselves foraging for themselves on the street until a friend of the family found out and got them and brought them to Happy Cats.
They have been together for a long time and have kept each other going and we would really rather adopt them together.
If you would like to meet this delightful pair, go to their webpage at www.happycatadoptions.org and click the link to the adoption information to fill out an online application.
WARNING: One visit is all it will take for this pair to steal your heart away. Jude is the laugh-a-minute joy boy, and Black Jack is the lap cat with the sweet, comforting purr.
