Sweet, shy, loving, Tanhouser is an old gentleman with impeccable manners. He's so sweet, you just want to cuddle him. And he would not object one time!

Tanhouser and his buddy Sunshine were left behind when their beloved human mom passed away. They were indoor/outdoor kitties, and when their mom died, they refused to go back in the house and mourned for her. A kind friend took care of them, but being a dog person, did not know how to comfort them. Happy Cat Adoptions took them in and they are recovering their cuddly personalities.

Although Tanhouser is the older, Sunshine watches out for him. The two curl around each other but each has his own distinct personality.

Tanhouser is a little shy, but once he warms up, he comes right up to you for affection. He loves his ears scritched, his face scratched, and to be petted and cuddled.

Tanhouser is so eager for petting and love, he'll try to hold onto your hand when he senses you're leaving. He likes to be on your lap, but he likes to come over to you and hop up, he's not fond of your picking him up and toting him around. But boy, once on your lap, he does NOT want to leave.
